Tam Coc Garden Resort Rooms and Villas: Which One to Book
Book the Mountain Verandah Chamber for the rice-field view, the Full Moon Villa for a private pool, or the Family House if there are four of you. The Deluxe Tonkin Garden and Sunset Valley bungalows are the simpler choices for two. Five room types are sold on the booking page; the resort’s own site lists two more.
Facts checked October 2026 against the resort’s own pages, the booking page and maps.

Each room, and who it suits
50 m² · Garden view · Queen or twin
Deluxe Tonkin Garden Bungalow
The entry room: a stone-walled bungalow with a private terrace onto the garden, a daybed by the window and a tiled bathroom. It is the same size as the Premium bungalow; the Premium adds a rice-field or karst view.
Book it if you want the garden setting at the lowest rate and will spend the days out on bikes and boats. Skip it if you specifically want to see rice fields from bed — the view here is garden.

Sunset Valley Bungalow
Brick and stone walls, a timber ceiling and a separate bathroom with a freestanding tub in the photos. Its terrace looks toward the valley, and the resort decorates it with hand-embroidered pictures from nearby Van Lam village.
Book it if you want a bathtub and a terrace for sunset drinks. Skip it if you need space for two children — the booking page allows one.

Mountain Verandah Chamber
The room to pick for the view: a private veranda over the paddies and a pond toward the limestone peaks, plus a sitting area and a freestanding tub. The resort spells it Mountain Veranda; the booking page adds an h.
Book it if the rice-field view is the reason you came to Tam Coc. Skip it if you are on the tightest budget — a garden bungalow costs less.

Full Moon Villa with a Private Pool
A stand-alone villa with its own pool, a garden and a stone bathroom with a freestanding tub. The resort includes a 60-minute massage for two, a minibar and an afternoon snack with this villa.
Book it if it is a honeymoon or anniversary and you want to swim without other guests. Skip it if you are three adults — there is one king bed and the booking page allows no extra bed.

Family House (Maison Quê)
A two-story house with a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and its own 60 m² pool, according to the resort. Both toilets are on the ground floor, and guests report it is about a five-minute bike ride from the main garden.
Book it if you are a family of four to six and want to cook and swim on your own. Skip it if you want to be steps from the restaurant and the main pool.

How to get the right room at Tam Coc Garden
01
Match by size and bed, not name
The booking page and the resort use different names and spellings. Use the size and bed type in the table to be sure you are on the right room.
02
Ask for the onsen room directly
The Onsen Panoramic Valley room and the Premium Tonkin bungalow are on the resort’s site but not on the booking page. Email the resort if you want either.
03
Plan occupancy before you pay
The booking page caps most rooms at two adults and one child and does not add extra beds. A third adult means the Family House.
Honest note
Bathrooms in the bungalows are partly open in style, with stone walls and windows onto the garden, and a few guests mention hearing neighbors through the walls. Light sleepers should ask for a room away from the restaurant.
Questions about rooms at Tam Coc Garden
What is the difference between the Deluxe and Premium Tonkin Garden bungalows?
Both are 50 m² and sleep the same number of guests. The Deluxe looks into the garden; the Premium looks toward the rice fields or the limestone karst and has an extra sitting corner. Only the Deluxe is sold on the booking page in October 2026; ask the resort for a Premium.
Does the Full Moon Villa pool get sun in the afternoon?
We could not confirm the pool’s orientation, and the resort does not publish its size. Photos show it surrounded by garden and open to the sky, with a pavilion at one end. Ask the resort which side catches the late sun if that matters to you.
Is there a kitchen in any room?
Only in the Family House (Maison Quê), which has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The other rooms have a kettle with tea and coffee, a minibar and free bottled water.
Which room has the best view of the rice fields?
The Mountain Verandah Chamber, whose private veranda looks across the paddies to the karst. The Full Moon Villa and the Family House also face the mountains, but their views are framed more by their own gardens.
Can I book the Onsen Panoramic Valley room online?
Not on the booking page as of October 2026. The resort lists it at 125 m² with a heated outdoor onsen for up to two people, aimed at couples. Contact the resort directly to ask about dates.
Do rooms have air conditioning and a safe?
Yes. Every room type lists air conditioning, a wardrobe with a safe, a desk, a phone, a minibar, robes and slippers, and a hair dryer. The resort also leaves free fruit and bottled water.
Your room, a garden and the paddies outside
Rates and the rooms still free for your nights are on the booking page. If you are torn, the veranda chamber is the safe pick for the view.
